Ah, Friday night. A late evening walk near some old haunts. It's been a hot day, I spent half of it at work (working from home, ugh), and half of it wondering where the time went.
A light breeze wafted the smell of the local mud flats at low tide. I was immediately transported back, oh, 35 years.
It's getting busy out which is a sign of daily life resuming business, as though somebody had pressed the pause button on a computer game, only to hit the any to continue after the best part of 3 months.
I shall miss the tranquility.
