That time of the year, somewhere between seasons. August is a strange month, part summer, part autumn. I don't think there's an equivalent in spring. In the North of England, we get 'actual' darkness in August, approximately 6 weeks after the solstice.
Last night was quite warm, and very still, definitely worth the walk out in the dark. If I'm going to make night photos I'll need a bit more than an iPhone 6S.
