Let's see more libre progressive web apps, ones we can self-host, or use on Somebody Else's cloud. Let's see how heavyweight applications works with clouds - gaming, rendering, audio production, complicated maths... it will be like the old days, but without the green screens. And cheap enough for us to have a go.
For the most part, how will native apps adapt? Or will they simply go away?
Faster network infrastructure is a must-have, especially in rural areas. Will 5G and its successors be the answer? Tinfoil hats at the ready...
